On February 4, 2010, i went into a Liberty tax office in hesperia, Ca on Main st and asked how much it would cost to get my taxes done there. They told me that i had to have a consultation done so they could figure out how much it would cost me. I was told that it would be a total of $127 for getting my taxes done there. I thought that was a bit high since i paid $85 to get my taxes done at a different place the year before. I went online and found a $26 coupon to Liberty tax and decided to get them done there so it only come out to $101. On February 8, i filed my taxes with Liberty tax with Jess Amaro.  I signed all the paperwork and asked them if they accepted Visa Debit card so i could pay the $101 fee. Mr. amaro said that it automatically gets taken out of my refund. On February 19, 2010, i realized that they took $217 out of my refund for their fees.Thinking that it was an honest mistake, I called them to let them know that they had taken too much money out of my refund for the costs and the office manager, naomi, hung up on me. I later went into the office. Mr. amaro asked Naomi if they could refund me the additional fees that werent disclosed to me and she said no. I asked to speak to her supervisor and she refused to give me any of their contact information but that she would discuss my issue with Julie, the district manager, the following day because they had a meeting and that she or julie would contact me. I called Naomi to let her know that julie hadnt contacted me . She called me 2 weeks later saying that Julie, the district manager said no to refunding my money. I asked to then speak to the person above Julie and Naomi said the general manager would call me. I didnt hear anything for a month and a half. I then went to a different office in victorville to file a complaint and also filed a complaint with corporate. Julie finally contacted me in April. She said that she would call the owner and let me know what he said. She also told me that Naomi said that my issue had already been solved and that there is no such thing as a general manager!!! She didnt call me for 3 weeks so i filed another complaint with corporate. I left numerous messages for her at her office and she never called me back. I finally called her cell phone and she said that i need to stop calling her because they arent going to refund me a penny and then she hung up on me. i called her back and she didnt answer. i called again and asked for Daniel Castellini (the owner) and she refused to give me his phone number. She also had the audacity to tell me i was just trying to get a free tax preperation. I dont think these people understand my issue, all i want is reimbursement for the fees that i wasnt advised about. I know i have to pay something for their services but i should only be held liable for the amount they told me. Im seeking reimbursement for $116. I would have never thought this would be such a headache, especially when the company has a WRITTEN guarantee. I have called corporate around 25 times but even though they are nice, all they can do is "update" the status of my issue. It has been being updated for about  4 1/2 months now! I have spoken to a customer care supervisor, Renita Casen (sorry if i misspelled your name) and even though she assures me that i will be reimbursed sooner or later, i need to have this problem solved soon! I do not want to email or call customer care being that they already have all of my information and about 25 different complaints. How can i get this solved?

  We have found the incident in our customer service console and it looks like the office has been trying to reach you. We have contacted the office in Hesperia and one of their reps will call you again to resolve this issue. Thanks

Thank you! I've been told by the representatives at corporate that on the updates the office has mentioned that they have tried contacting me but i havent received any follow up from them. I verified all my contact information to make sure it was correct including cell phone number and email address. I have already spoken to Naomi who is the office manager, and julie, who is the district manager and it seems like i cant get anything solved through them.

  Let me notify our operations dept to see what is going on with that office and hopefully get this resolved for you.

   Can you please email customercare@libtax.com with your email address? I am going to give you Julie's direct number. They have been trying to reach you. We do not have your email address on the customer console.

i sent my email address but at this point, i need someone to contact me. Julie already made it clear that she isnt going to put any effort towards assisting me with this issue. I have called Julie on her cell phone and she ended up hanging up on me.  I dont understand why they say theyve been trying to contact me when they have my cell phone number and i havent received any follow up from them. So, please, have someone contact me through email or by calling me.
